چکیده

Abstract This research focuses on student–robot interaction in the learning environment of robotics education (RE) and attempts to explore how it cultivates students’ computational thinking (CT). Different from child–robot interactions as investigated social robot field, (S–R) focus mainly process between learners programmable kits RE settings. At a four-week summer camp China, mixed-methods was conducted. Forty primary school students one dedicated teacher participated this research, while 32 completed all lessons data collection procedures camp. Results indicated that CT skill increased during change their positively correlated time spent S–R interaction. Additionally, three kinds interaction—programming-computing, observational investigation, participatory investigation—cultivated were found. Moreover, hierarchy role-shifting discussed. Previous studies rarely discussed interaction; however, kind should be explored because provides more information about natural process, which might meaningful practice.

Cultivating Responses from Students through Literature Circle

The English literature component has been around in the Malaysian Education system since 2000. However, literature as a subject has always been learned more for transactional purposes rather than for its aesthetic value. Basically, a regurgitation of knowledge from years of learning, poured out in one major examination. In this research, the researcher applies a teaching method, called the lite...

Computational Thinking in Life Science Education

We join the increasing call to take computational education of life science students a step further, beyond teaching mere programming and employing existing software tools. We describe a new course, focusing on enriching the curriculum of life science students with abstract, algorithmic, and logical thinking, and exposing them to the computational "culture." The design, structure, and content o...
